How our multinational team elevates your dive
A great dive operation blends people, process, and place. Here’s how the Wannadive crew brings it together for you:
- Local knowledge of Bonaire diving: The Bonaire National Marine Park offers over 90 dive sites, with many accessible from shore and marked by yellow stones. Our crew helps you match your experience to sites and conditions.
- Streamlined starts: On-site classroom, pool access, and efficient check-ins keep courses and guided dives on time and focused.
- Skill confidence: Instructors emphasize trim, buoyancy, and communication so you can comfortably explore reefs and wrecks within your limits.
- Shore support that matters: With dedicated shore support, gear swaps, and a well-run tank station, your surface intervals stay stress-free.
- Safety-first mindset: From orientation through post-dive checks, the team keeps attention on weighting, equipment function, and controlled ascents.
Train and dive with the team
Whether you’re taking your first breaths underwater or building new specialties, the Wannadive crew teaches at both locations and supports a full path of progression.
- Start here: Beginner dive courses (Grand Windsock)
- Keep learning: Continuing education (Grand Windsock) • Specialty courses (Grand Windsock)
- Head north or south: Explore courses, trips, and rentals via Eden Beach and Grand windsock
- Build your plan: Check Dive & Drive and our accommodation partners
Practical takeaways and tips
- Complete your orientation early: The Bonaire National Marine Park requires an orientation and a short buoyancy check dive to confirm proper weighting and equipment function. You can do this with or without a guide; if you prefer a guide, email info@wannadive.com to schedule.
- Choose your home base: Pick Eden Beach or Grand Windsock resort based on where you’ll shore dive most and your accommodation location.
- Match gas and gear to your day: Air and Nitrox 32% are available, with DIN and yoke connections and 10L/12L tanks—confirm your preferences at check-in.
- Plan shore dives smartly: Use crew advice to time entry/exit and pick sites that fit your experience and conditions.
- Make training count: Ask course directors or instructors to tailor skills sessions to your goals—navigation, buoyancy, or shore-entry technique.
- Stay flexible: Weather and currents can shift; trust crew recommendations to keep dives safe and enjoyable.
The people behind every good dive day
From a smile at the shop counter to patient coaching in the pool and sharp eyes on the reef, the Wannadive crew is the connective tissue of your dive experience. Owners Alex and Emma set the tone; Bart brings founding spirit; Linda, Nomi, and Sal keep operations smooth; Olga and Berdi raise the bar on training; and our instructors—Nico, Renée, Edwin, Danny, Tije, and Julie—turn your goals into confident underwater time.
